Cutting Garden Collection – FAQs

Where should I grow them?
You can grow everything in raised beds, garden rows, or containers.
We include container spacing and tips right in your planting guide. Some people plant them all together as one cutting garden.
Others tuck the flowers into existing beds or sprinkle them throughout their landscaping. You can even mix these into an existing garden.

When will I get blooms?
If you plant around mid-May, expect flowers starting around mid-July. Once they start, they keep going right through fall frost (especially if you keep cutting them).

Do I need experience to grow these?
No, but you will need to care for them… check for pests and water. You will find harvesting and bouquet arranging an experience you never know you needed.

Are these annuals or perennials?
They are annuals. You are always welcome to save the seeds to use next year.

Do deer eat these flowers?
They are not deer resistant, but there are way to deter them.

How long do they bloom?
Most varieties bloom continuously once they get going. The more you cut, the more they produce. They’ll keep flowering until frost!

When do I pick up?
We will contact you with pick-up instructions closer to the pick-up dates. (May 8th and 9th)
